Power and PedalSnake: Three Options for Power
.
.
Choosing how you power you pedals is the first step in selecting the PedalSnake system that is right for you and your rig. You have three options to choose from, and they are shown below.
If you want The Ultimate, save time and go straight to Option 3: The PedalSnake-Strymon 24V Method.

|
Option 1
Keep a power supply on the pedalboard, continue to run an AC power cord (outside of PedalSnake).
|
.
.
Option 2
Low Voltage Method
Pedal power supplies go back with the amp; no AC power cord to run. Because power supplies and their magnetic fields are away from pedals, this is a quieter solution.
|
.
Option 3
The Ultimate: The PedalSnake-Strymon 24V Method
Unlike Option 2, Option 3 has Strymon's 24V-sourced power supplies mount on the pedalboard. No AC power cord to run, but you keep a pro multi-output supply on the pedalboard. This is the quietest solution, with the quietest power supplies, and nothing but quiet DC (24V) near the pedals.
